I was excited to see the rare supermoon and made the drive out of Boulder to ensure a good spot to see it. The sunset was as beautiful as ever, with lots of clouds that captured the shifting light. I watched the flatirons for a while, and was surprised to turn around and see the moon so large in the sky, coming just off the horizon. The clouds hung over Colorado as the supermoon came out, giving me glances here and there, but the wall of clouds blocked it out much of the time. Either way, I was glad to take a night to relax and take it all in, as well as find some time to play around with some long exposures. The cloud coverage reflected the pink and orange tones of the supermoon, and it was nice to be out and about on such a bright night.
